Happy Monday!


Monday. It's most people's least favorite day of the week. The weekend is over. Back to the grind. Mondays are indeed rough. But for me, it's one of the favorites. SAY WHAT??!! Yes, you heard right. Monday is one of my favorite days of the week. And I thought I should share how in the world that could be so that maybe you, too, can learn to like Mondays a little better in three easy steps.

1. Don't make any plans outside of the home. Start by keeping the day free of commitments. Plan to stay home and chill. Most Mondays, we even stay in our pajamas all day.





2. Catch up on laundry and tidy the main living area. Nothing makes me feel more accomplished in the housekeeping arena than being caught up on laundry and having a tidy living area. I feel like I can breathe and enjoy!

Early morning; one load is folded and the house picked up. Ready to have a great day!

 3. For those with littles, play lots. Play games, do puzzles, read books- whatever floats your boat. Relax and enjoy!


I have to say these magformers are THE BOMB!


Monday is my do nothing (except laundry), recover from the weekend day. The weekends are always so busy, full of commitments and gatherings, and I've heard many people say "I need a weekend to recover from my weekend!" Well, take a day. No plans on Monday, get caught up on laundry, play, and rest when the kids do. I guarantee if you use Monday to recover from the weekend, you'll begin to see it in a whole new light!

Three loads done and ready to be put away by lunchtime. The best part- I don't have to think about it again until Thursday!
